16-Hour DCF & Wisconsin Registry Approved Certification Course
This 16-hour certification course is required for those individuals who have completed Introduction to the Child Care Profession – Part A and are now seeking state licensing status or want to meet the annual continuing education requirement for certification. Part B combined with Part A and the 15-hour Fundamentals of Family Child Care course meet a portion of Wisconsin’s training requirements for licensed childcare providers. If a licensed provider is caring for children under the age of 2-years old, the 15-hour Fundamentals of Infant & Toddler Care course is required within 6 months of receiving a license.
